Aidana Zhaishylyk
Head of Strategic Development & Asia Partnerships
Aidana leads ALBA’s marketing strategy and institutional development across Asia, building relationships with universities, research centres, and academic networks throughout Central Asia, China, and the broader region.
She is currently a PhD candidate in Public Administration and holds a Master’s degree in International Trade from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, graduating with a GPA of 3.92 out of 4. Her academic background in international relations, trade, and public administration gives her a strong understanding of cross-border institutional collaboration and higher education systems.
Aidana has held research coordination and institutional roles within Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, where she developed inter-institutional research collaborations and supported multi-site academic projects. She also brings international experience from China, South Korea, and the United Nations Information Office in Kazakhstan, where she contributed to institutional communications and international engagement initiatives.
Fluent in Kazakh, Russian, English, and Chinese, she works at the intersection of academic development, institutional partnership-building, and strategic outreach.
At ALBA, Aidana focuses on expanding institutional partnerships, strengthening long-term relationships with universities, and positioning ALBA as a trusted editorial partner for academic communities across Asia.
